New Businesses and great ways to kick off 2017 in Allentown!

There are exciting things happening in Allentown in 2017! From new businesses, to events, and classes, there are so many ways to get involved! 

New Business! 
We have some new neighbors in Allentown. 

  • Day La Soul Cafe and Grocer: Torie Day, head chef of Day La Soul Catering, is bringing fresh food and a healthy food cafe to 829-831 East Warrington. Day La Soul will bring grocery items, including fresh produce, to the Hilltop. Check back for details on grand opening, events, and the adjourning Day La Soul Cafe. 
  • Fame15 Creative: Owners Sara Ruth and Laura Early are bringing Fame15, their boutique marketing and creative agency, to Allentown to the second floor of 827 East Warrington on January 28. The company offers branding, graphic design, marketing, media purchasing + management, digital marketing, social media, websites, event planning, and event management + fundraising.
New Year! 
There's always a reason to visit Allentown, and 2017 is not different. Check out some updates on your local favorites.
  • Black Forge Coffee House: Aside from hosting a myriad of shows or your next meeting, BFCH hosts "Grumpy Hour" every morning, Monday through Friday, 7am-8am. Take the edge off with a $2.00 large coffee! 
  • Breakfast at Shelly's: Owner Michelle Moeller welcomed new baby, Ava, in November and launched a new menu this month! Check them out for breakfast happy hour, or bring the family in over the weekend when kids eat for free! 
  • Leon's Caribbean: Is hitting the road! We mean Leon's now has a mobile food truck! Follow the business on social media to get times and location of Leon's Food Truck! 
  • Spool: Announces new winter hours and great ways to spend your days indoors while still having fun. Check out their schedule of classes, and don't forget free maker night is February 2, and every first Thursday of the month
